Founded in 1986, LITE-CHECK was the first company to offer electronic testers for commercial trailers. LITE-CHECK product development has been driven by the needs of our customers. The first product of its kind was manufactured for the California Highway Patrol to improve inspection productivity and diagnosis reliability. LITE-CHECK products have evolved into products that truck and trailer manufacturers and maintenance shops cannot do without.
Headquartered in Spokane, WA LITE-CHECK is a leader in providing tools for trucking industry safety diagnosis. The company designs, manufactures, and markets a range of products used to test and diagnose the braking and lighting systems of heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
Our customers include trucking leaders in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and overseas. This impressive customer base includes trailer manufactures, fleets, truck and trailer service shops, Government agencies, and the United States Military.
TIMELINE
EST. 1985
Bob Blair founds the company and Lite-Check develops it’s first product for the California State Highway Patrol.
1985-2000
Lite-Check begins to develop and grow within the industry developing 3 new industry changing products the 900R, the 700B, and the 801 M.
2000-2012
As the early 2000’s kick-off so does Lite-Check. Developing 4 New Products, including the launching two new flagship models: The Inspector (910B) and the Certifier (912). In addition Lite-Check supplemented these with a much needed pedal actuator and power supply.
2012-2018
The 2010s were game changing for Lite-Check as R&D soared, sales grew, and new innovative products were released to the general public. Lite-Check advanced the Inspector Series 2 Model editions, developed a GSA Verifier device, launched the Pro-Check Series, and the one of a kind Output Tester.
2018-PRESENT DAY
In recent history Lite-Check has weathered storms from the events of 2020 to the chip-shortage crisis, and more. Remaining strong, Lite-Check did not let this get the best of them and instead refreshed their product line to provide more value to specific industries. Reinventing the Inspector Series to a fully digital product, converting the Verifier to a GSA focused device, developing the all new Military 810-M, and refreshing the Certifier for better off-the line OEM support Lite-Check continues to innovate.
THE FUTURE
Lite-Check continues to innovate. With the recent advances in trailer technology, autonomous vehicles, and smart trailers Lite-Check is committed to growing with the industry. Most shops are not yet ready for these advancements despite them being on the road already. Lite-Check is here to certify, inspect, and verify each and every smart trailer.
